Chocolate vanilla barfi

 INGREDIENTS FOR VANILLA PART

Sugar ½ cup

Water ¼ cup

Cook till 1 string consistency

Add ½ cup milk pdr, mix well no lumps should be there

Mix well stirring, once slightly thick add 1 tbsp ghee

Once bubbles form still slightly watery remove vanilla essence 1/4 tsp mix well

pour into a prepared tin or plate greased with ghee

 

For chocolate

Sugar ½ cup

Water ¼ cup

Cook till 1 string consistency

Milk pdr ½ cup

Chocolate pdr ¼ cup

Ghee 1 tbsp

Add mix well cook, stir, as it thicken add 1 more tbsp of ghee

Cook till thick and big bubbles form leaving the sides

Pour over the white set part, sprinkle some chopped nuts on top

When it is half set, mark lines to cut

It takes an hour roughly to set well

Then it will be easy to cut and remove
