Ragi is an extremely nutritious millet. It is packed with calcium, iron, good carbs, amino acids and heaps more. Sprouting ragi not only boosts the nutritional profile, it is another easier way to incorporate this magic millet in diet and what better than making some healthy cutlets for tea time snack. It can be guilt-free, as it is not deep fried.
Ingredients
2 tbsp Ragi ( finger millet) Flour
1/2 Diced Cup Pumpkin
1 tbsp Suji
1tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
1 tsp Coriander Leaves
1/4 tsp Red Chili pdr
1/4 tsp turmeric pdr
1/4 Tsp(1.0 gm) Salt
2 tsp Oil
120 ml Water
Preparations
Boil 1/2 cup diced pumpkin.
In a bowl, add cooked pumpkin, 2 tbsp ragi flour, 1 tbsp suji, 1 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1/4 tsp
salt, 1/4 tsp turmeric pdr, 1/4 tsp red chili powder and mash the mixture well.
Add 1 tsp coriander leaves to the mixture and shape them into cutlets.
In a pan, heat 2 tsp oil and shallow fry till light brown.
Serve with sauce or chutney.
