Very often rice is left-over, as it impossible to cook the exact amount you need each day, as some days, we're more hungry, other days, hardly wish to eat anything, as it depends on many factors, if you had a snack, or what type of food you had for lunch, if the lunch was heavy, then you prefer to skip dinner at times. Then surely rice will be leftover. At the cost of rice, one can never afford to throw away any food. I consider wasting food a serious crime, as millions die of hunger in his world, please do your bit to feed the hungry, if you've leftover food or turn it into a meal for the next day. At times, I used to have little of sambar, little of rasam/ kootu ( dal with veges cooked in gravy), some dry veges leftover, convert it to a delicious meal ! Yes shall post it in my next recipe.
