Normally dried raisins are mixed with some toxins to extend the shelf life, when dried. For 2 tbsp of raisins, soak in warm water with 1/4 tsp of baking soda, mix well, after 10 minutes, wash it well 2-3 times, then drain and then use.
The recipes posted here are very simple, with no hard & fast rule, as I love to cook a variety but with ease. My dishes are such that it is nutritious & easy to cook.
