 Instant Set Dosa In 10 Min - Try This Easy Recipe For Quick South Indian Breakfast  

Traditionally, set dosa is made with a mixture of poha, idli rice and dal which are usually ground and  left to ferment overnight and cooked for breakfast the next morning. I found a recipe for instant set dosa that can be made whenever the craving for it arises; no prep-ahead is required.

Making a quicker version of set dosa made with poha, suji and curd. Instead, it uses Eno fruit salt for the batter to rise. One interesting feature of set dosa recipe is that it is cooked from one side only. Won't you like to make a delicious and healthy set dosa instantly?

Ingredients

1 cup Poha/ avil washed and soaked

1 cup Sooji/ rava

salt to taste 

1 tbsp Eno Fruit salt

Oil as required for making dosa 

1/4 cup Curd

 

Preparations

Take semolina, soaked poha, curd and salt in a mixer jar. Add some water to it and blend till the smooth batter is ready.

Take it out in a bowl and balance the consistency by adding a little water if the batter seems thick.

Add fruit salt to this batter and mix, you will see that the batter has swelled.

Now grease the pan by applying little oil with the help of a brush.

Put batter on it and spread it a little, it is baked from one side only. After roasting, serve with your favorite chutney.
