Ingredients
1 pre-baked pie crust
3 ripe bananas (sliced)
2 cups whole milk
½ cup sugar
¼ cup cornstarch
2 egg yolks
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon butter
Whipped cream for topping
How to make
Heat milk in a saucepan over medium heat.
In a separate bowl, whisk sugar, cornstarch, and egg yolks.
Slowly add the warm milk while whisking.
Return the mixture to the saucepan and cook until thickened.
Remove from heat, stir in vanilla and butter
Layer banana slices in the pie crust, pour the filling and refrigerate
Top with whipped cream before serving
