Semolina cheela

 Ingredients

semolina/ suji 1 cup

buttermilk 3/4 cup +

water as needed

salt to taste

onion 1 finely chopped

green chilies 2-3 finely chopped as per taste

coriander leaves finely chopped 2-3 tbsp

carrot grated 1

oil to cook

you may add spinach/ methi / drumstick leaves  too to make it more healthy

 

Method

in a bowl add suji and butter milk, mix well, set it aside for 30 minutes, in case the batter is too thick, add little water to get the correct consistency.

then add rest of the ingredients except oil.

heat a tawa, once hot, smear little oil, spread the cheela, cook on medium heat till brown on both sides. 

serve hot with chutney of your choice
