Mango Puran Poli

 Ingredients

For the dough, combine all-purpose flour and semolina. Add in a pinch of salt and haldi. Add in the fresh malai and combine the dough using enough milk. Finally, add in ghee and knead until a soft dough is formed. Let the dough rest aside for 30 minutes.
For the stuffing, steam cook the chana dal until mushy. Add the sugar and grind it in the mixer jar until smooth.
Now heat a pan and add the chana dal mixture. Add in the mango puree and the cardamom powder. Cook the mixture well until nice and dry. Once cooked add in the saffron strands and let it cool.
For the Puran Poli, roll the maida mixture. Stuff in the chana dal mixture and pack. Now roll the stuffed dough. Shallow fry until golden and crispy with ghee.
Serve hot with milk and ghee.
