Protein rich stuffed besan cheela

 Ingredients

besan as needed

salt to taste

ajwain 1/2 tsp 

water to make a semi-thick batter 

oil to cook

 

Filling

oil 1 tbsp

jeera 1/2 tsp 

hing little 

turmeric pdr little 

onion 2-3 sliced fine

green chilies 2-3 finely chopped as per taste

carrot grated 1/4 cup

capsicum 1 finely chopped

ginger grated/ chopped 1 tsp

peas boiled and slightly mashed

paneer crumbled 1/2 cup

salt to taste

coriander leaves finely chopped 1 tbsp 

 

Method

in a pan/ kadai heat oil , add jeera, once it crackles add hing, ginger, green chilies fry well for a minute

add onion with little salt to fry till light brown

add grated carrot, capsicum, peas, turmeric fry well, cook covered with a sprinkle of water for 2-3 minutes on low flame.

add peas mix well along with paneer and coriander leaves adding salt to taste. 

cook covered for 2-3 minutes, remove cool.

in a tawa, grease with oil, make thin cheela with besan batter on medium flame, putting little oil all over

flip over after 3 minutes, cook  for another 2-3 minutes, spread filling on one half , fold and serve how with green chutney.
