INGREDIENTS
sago 1/2 cup washed & soaked in just enough water for 3 hours
coconut milk 2 cups
sugar 1/2 cup or to taste
cashew nuts & raisins little fried in little ghee
cardamom pdr. 1/2 tsp
fruits to decorate
salt a pinch
METHOD
in a heavy pan, add coconut milk, add sugar, keep stirring continuously
once sugar has melted, add soaked sago, keep on stirring, till it gets cooked, add a pinch of salt
if not sure of taste, check for sweetness, add more sugar if required
add cardamom pdr., roasted nuts & raisins, remove
as it gets cooled, it will thicken.
serve with cut fruits of your choice.
you may keep some very thick coconut milk aside, add little sugar, this you can pour over fruits before serving.
It can be served hot or cold.
