Stuffed mushrooms

 INGREDIENTS 

for filling

mushrooms as you need ( remove the stem completely so there is enough place to stuff

oil 1 tbsp

ginger 1" finely chopped

garlic 1 tbsp finely chopped ( optional)

onion 2-3 tbsp finely chopped

celery 1 tbsp finely chopped

spinach blanched and chopped 1/2 cup

grated cheese 1/4 cup

salt to taste

green chilies to taste


to fry

maida slurry

breadcrumbs 

oil for deep frying


PREPARATIONS

heat a pan with oil, add ginger, garlic, fry well for 2 minutes

add onion, fry till onion is transparent

add celery, green chilies, fry for 2 minutes

add spinach, salt to taste

if you like, you may want chaat masala/ garam masala to the filling

remove, cool, fill in the mushrooms well

if need be you may put 2 mushrooms covering the filling and join with 2 toothpicks

or on individual mushroom, after filling well, press with some breadcrumbs well

then dip in maida slurry, roll on breadcrumbs and fry till golden.

serve with salad, chutney of your choice.
