INGREDIENTS
maida/ all purpose flour 2 cups
milk pdr 2 tbsp (optional)
ghee 4 tbsp
cardamom pdr 1 tsp ( optional)
grated ginger 1 tbsp ( optional)
brown sugar 1/2 cup
honey 2 tbsp
evaporated milk 3/4 cup
ghee 1 1/2 cups for frying
METHOD
Mix all dry ingredients and rub 3 tbsp of ghee into the flour mixture until it resembles breadcrumbs.
-Add the honey to the milk and add to flour mixture to form a soft dough.
-Rest for 10 minutes.
-Use the extra 1 tbsp of ghee to roll and flatten 4-6" discs.
-Fry in ghee on medium low heat for 8-10 minutes until dark brown in color.
