Baked methi mathri

 Normally mathris are deep fried, here is a healthy version, baked for all those health conscious people out there.


INGREDIENTS

multigrain wheat flour/atta 1 cup

besan  1/4 cup

ghee  2 tbsp

salt to taste

ajwain 1/2 tsp

sesame seeds  1 tsp

mathris leaves washed and chopped  1/4 cup

baking soda 1/2 tsp.

 

PREPARATIONS

in a bowl add flours, salt, ghee, ajwain sesame seeds, mix well, add ghee, rub with both hands till it resembles like breadcrumbs. then add methis leaves, mix well. Thenwater little by little to make a nice soft dough. Pre-heat oven to 180 deg. C, take small amount of dough, flatten it to about 2" rounds, bake for 12-15 minutes. Store in air-tight container.
