INGREDIENTS
for stuffing
yam cooked and mashed 1 cup
green peas boiled 1/2 cup
ginger chopped 1 tbsp
green chilies chopped as per taste
garlic chopped 1 tbsp
coriander leaves chopped 2 tbsp
oil 2 tbsp
jeera 1 tsp
onion seeds 1/2 tsp
mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
methi seeds 1/4 tsp
saunf 1 tsp
green onion 2 tbsp
salt to taste
Turmeric pdr 1/2 tsp
for rolls
leftover roti/ tortillas
butter to fry
PREPARATIONS
in a pan, heat oil, add the panch poran(jeera, mustard, onion seeds, methi, saunf), once they splutter, add ginger, garlic, fry well, add chilies, fry again for few seconds.
add the mashed yam,peas, turmeric, mix well adding salt to taste
let it cook for 3 minutes, add green onion, coriander leaves, if you want add garam masala/ kitchen king masala, chaat masala you are free to add.
take a roti/ tortilla you can spread any chutney if you like, or just add the filling, tightly roll, put it on a hot pan with butter/ oil to bet brown on both sides, cut serve with ketchup/ chutney.
