KALAKAND

INGREDIENTS

CONDENSED MILK  1 CUP
COTTAGE CHEESE/ PANEER MASHED 1 CUP
MILK POWDER  3 TBSP
CARDAMOM PDR. 1 TSP
NUTS POWDERED 3-4 TBSP
GHEE 1 TBSP

METHOD
IN A NON-STICK OR HEAVY PAN, MIX CONDENSED MILK, PANEER AND MILK POWDER WELL, THEN SWITCH ON THE GAS, COOK ON MEDIUM FLAME STIRRING WELL TILL THE MIXTURE GETS THICK. ADD CARDAMOM POWDER AND 1 TSP GHEE MIX WELL ADDING HALF OF THE NUTS. SPREAD ON A GREASED PLATE., SPRINKLE REMAINING NUTS ON TOP, PRESS WELL. ALLOW IT TO SET, IT MAY TAKE 2-3 HOURS, THEN CUT INTO DESIRED SHAPE.
