INGREDIENTS
ghee 1/2 cup
rava 1 1/2 cups
sugar 1 1/2 cups
hot water 4 cups
cardamom pdr 1/2 tsp
saffron food colour 1/2 tsp
nuts chopped as desired 2-3 tbsp
METHOD
in a pan/ kadai heat ghee, add rava, keep frying well till nice aroma comes, but not brown
add hot water, keep cooking till all the water is absorbed, adding little food colour.
once the mixture comes together, add sugar, keep stirring till sugar melts adding remaining food colour
Once the mixture turns grainy, cover and cook on low flame for 5 minutes
remove lid, stir well, once the mixture leaves the sides of the pan, remove, let it cool well, stirring in between, so that crust doesn't happen on top.
mix well again, add cardamom pdr, nuts, mix well, roll into ladoos !
Your mock motichoor ladoos ready without deep frying !
