CHOCOLATE HEART COOKIES



INGREDIENTS
for cookies
butter  3 tbsp
icing sugar  2 tbsp
all purpose flour   1/2 cup
cocoa pdr.   1 tbsp
for decoration
ghee 2 tbsp
icing sugar 4 tbsp
vanilla essence  1/4 tsp
cocoa pdr  1 tsp

METHOD
take butter, icing sugar in a plate, mix well with your hands till light and fluffy.
add flour and cocoa pdr. mix and make a ball out of the dough
sprinkle some dry flour on a plastic sheet, roll it to make 2 mm thick.
cut out heart shapes with a cutter
arrange all the pieces on a greased baking tray
make a few holes with a fork on each cookie
bake at 175 deg. C for 15-20 minutes.
cool the hearts before decorating.
for decoration, take ghee, icing sugar and essence in a bowl.
beat with an electric beater or a wooden spoon.
make it light and fluffy to get white frosting.
fill half of the frosting in a piping syringe fitted with a small star nozzle
add cocoa pdr. to the remaining frosting and put the bowl on hot water, as it melts, mix well, and apply it on each cookie to give a chocolate layer.
after 10 minutes, decorate with tiny stars on edges of each cookie, let it set, serve.
