SPICY TOMATO FRITTERS ( Bhajiyas)



 INGREDIENTS

FOR BATTER

Besan  1/2 cup
rice flour 1/2 cup

Salt to taste

Chana masala ¼ tsp

Chili pdr. 1 tsp or to taste

Add water and make thick batter


Tomato slices cut into thick rounds

Green chutney as needed

Oil to fry


METHOD

Cut tomato slices and keep aside, the water from the slices will drain, which can be used for making batter. Then apply green chutney well on both sides.

Before making fritters, add 2 tsp hot oil to batter, mix well, dip tomato slices well in batter to coat on both sides, deep fry in medium hot oil, as tomatoes will get cooked fast.

Serve hot with ketchup or any dip of your choice.
