BEETROOT HALWA



INGREDIENTS
Ghee  1/4 cup
chironji  1/4 cup
melon seeds  1/4 cup
boiled grated beetroot 1 1/2- 2 cups
apple grated  1
gur  1 cup
mawa / thickened milk 1 cup
coconut grated / desiccated 1/4 cup
cardamom pdr  1 tsp

METHOD
in a heavy pan, add 2-3 tbsp ghee, fry the nuts, add grated beet and apple well, once dry, add gur , keep stirring till gur melts and the mixture gets thick, add some more ghee, mawa, coconut, keep stirring till well mixed, add cardamom pdr. mix well.
