Potato-Water Chestnut Dahi Vada( Aloo- singhare ke dahi wade

Ingredients

curd    8 tbsp ( it shouldn't be sour)
cardamom pdr.  1 tsp
3/4 tsp coarsely ground black pepper
sea salt to taste
oil for frying

For Vada base
potatoes boiled  4
3/4 tsp green cardamom pdr.
2 tsp coarsely ground black cardamom & black pepper
4 tsp singhare ke atta/ water chestnut flour
sea salt to taste

For garnishing
mint leaves
coarsely ground black cardamom & black pepper
4-5 cardamoms

METHOD
mash potatoes, green cardamom, ground pepper in a bowl with salt to taste
mix water in the flour
shape potatoes mixture like vada, dip in the flour batter & deep fry in hot oil to crisp on both sides.\drain.
mix curd with ground powders, salt in a bowl
dip the hot vadas in the curd mixture
garnish with mint, ground powders, serve.
