Ingredients
- 2 cups fine rava/semolina/suji
- 1 cup grated coconut
- 1-1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 10-15 cashew nuts
- 1 cup ghee or as required
- 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
Method
- Dry roast the rava till you get a nice aroma.
- In a pan, heat some ghee and fry the grated coconut till they're light brown.
- Chop the cashew nuts finely and fry them in ghee.
- Heat the ghee.
- When it gets hot, mix the rava, sugar and grated coconut with roughly half the ghee, mix & see if you can make laddus, if not add some more ghee, mix well .
- Add cashew nuts and cardamom powder and mix well.
- form small balls/ laddus. Or you can garnish each ball with a piece of roasted cashew nut.
ps- you can avoid coconut, then add less sugar.
