INGREDIENTS and Preparations
peanuts roasted 1/2 cup
grated coconut 1/2 cup
grind these together adding little water
Wheat flour 1 cup, dry roast well till nice aroma comes, let it cool
once cool, add the ground paste
jaggery 1 cup
water 1/2 cup
mix the above well, make syrup, till jaggery dissolves and slightly thick
add the syrup to the wheat flour, nuts mixture, mix well
keep cooking, stirring continuously , adding little ghee at a time
roughly ghee 1/4 cup will be needed
add 2-3 tbsp chopped nuts
keep stirring with nuts, adding little ghee, till the halwa come together, leaving the sides of the pan. spread in a plate, garnish with some nuts, cut into desired shape once set,and serve.
