Kuttu Ki Khichdi

 Ingredients:

  • ½ cup sama ke chawal
  • ¼ cup kuttu atta
  • 1 boiled potato
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds 
  • 1 green chili
  • 1 tbsp ghee 
  • 1½ cups water 
  • Rock salt to taste 
  • Fresh coriander for garnish 

Instructions:

  1. Heat ghee in a pan. Add cumin seeds and green chilies. 
  2. Add boiled potatoes and sauté. 
  3. Stir in barnyard millet and cook for 1 minute. 
  4. Add water and rock salt, and let it cook until soft and fluffy. 
  5. Sprinkle buckwheat flour for a nutty flavour, mix well, and serve hot.
