As winter is approaching, you want to drink something hot, want to avoid caffeine, then this turmeric--ginger tea is the best, as it is anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, soothes the stomach, especially if you're feeling heavy, it will aid in digestion.
Ingredients-
Water - 1 cup (filtered)
Ginger root - 1 tsp. (grated fresh)
Turmeric root - 1 tsp.
Honey - 1 tsp.
Black pepper - 1 tsp.
Method of preparing the Tea:
Boil the water in a saucepan or pot. Add the grated turmeric and
ginger to the water, then turn the heat down to a simmer.
Allow the
mixture to stand for 10-15 minutes. Strain the tea into a teapot.
Add
black pepper and honey and enjoy!
