Baigan acharwale ( eggplant with pickle flavour)

Ingredients
small round brinjal 15 cut into 4 lengthwise with stem
onion 1 big sliced long 
turmeric 1/2 tsp
red chili pdr to taste
salt to taste
oil 2 tbsp
ghee 1 tsp
jeera 1 tsp
powder a little coarsely
jeera 1 tsp
mustard seeds 3 tsp
coriander seeds 2 tsp
methi seeds  1/2 tsp
saunf  2 tsp
 

Method
In a heavy/ non-stick pan heat oil and ghee, add jeera, once it crackles, add onion fry till light brown
add brinjal salt, turmeric and chili pdr., mix well
let it cook uncovered till almost done, add the pdr. spices, mix well, cook till done
serve hot with roti/ rice.
