Ingredients and Prep
whole wheat flour 1 cup
suji 1/2 cup
salt little
ghee 2 tbsp
mix well, add water make a soft dough, rest it
crush 1 tsp each of jeera, coriander seeds and fennel seeds
crush 1" ginger and 3-4 green chilies as per taste
heat 1 tbsp oil, fry the crushed seeds well, add ginger-chili, mix well, fry well
add boiled and chopped 2-3 potatoes , add salt, boiled peas / frozen peas, mix all well, mashing the potatoes.
remove, cool the stuffing.
take a small ball of dough, with hand make a small cup
make smaller ball of stuffing, make a depression, keep a small piece of cheese, cover well, cover the dough well.
heat a paniyaram pan, add oil in each hole, put the prepared ball in each hole, keep the flame on medium flame, cover the prepared balls for 3-4 minutes, turn all the balls well, cover and cook till it is crisp.
remove serve hot with green and tamarind sweet chutney
It is a healthy version of samosa !
