Ingredients
2 cups raisins
2 cups hot water
3 teaspoons baking soda
3 cups flour
1 cup brown sugar
4 teaspoons cooking oil ( not Olive oil)
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons vanilla
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Method
Boil water and pour over raisins and baking soda. Let stand overnight.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In the morning add in remaining ingredients. Grease three 1-pound cans and bake for 1 hour, then remove bread from cans.
