This ice cream is wonderfully creamy, yet
lactose-free, making it perfect for those of you who don’t eat dairy.
It's ideal for kids and adults alike and can be whipped up in just 5
minutes!
Ingredients for Dairy-Free Coconut Flakes
Ice Cream:
Coconut milk - 1/2 cup
Coconut flakes - 1/2 cup
Maple syrup - 1/4 cup
Vanilla Extract - 1/2 tsp
Bananas - 2 (frozen)
Method of preparing the Dairy-Free Coconut Flakes Ice Cream:
In a bowl, mix all the ingredients with a spoon, and then transfer
to a food processor and blend until the mixture is unified.
Pour into a container and put it in the freezer for 4 hours.Enjoy!
You can serve garnished with toasted coconut flakes, as shown in the
photo.
Chef's Tip:
You can pour the mixture into Popsicle molds too, or enjoy it unfrozen
as a morning smoothie.
