INGREDIENTS
½ cup rava / semolina/ suji
1 tbsp atta/ wheat flour
1” ginger chopped
1 green chili chopped
Salt per taste
½ cup curd
½ cup water
Mix all well, let it sit for 10-15 minutes
Strain, rest covered for 10 minutes
Add chopped coriander leaves
Spring onion 1 chopped
1 tsp chili flakes
¼ tsp jeera pdr
Mix well.
TEMPERING
1 tsp oil
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
curry leaves 1 sprig,
2-3 green chilies cut into strips
METHOD
Grease a plate, wipe well with tissue
Spread 2 ladles of batter, spread well.
In a kadai add water to boil, keep a stand to keep the plate over it
Steam for 4 minutes on medium flame
Cool completely, remove the edges with a knife, cut into strips
Roll strips keeping the down side down while rolling
In a kadai heat 1 tsp oil
Add ½ tsp mustard seeds, once it splutters, add curry leaves, green chilies cut into strips,
Mix well, add pinch of salt, add the rolled rolls mix well.
Serve hot with green/ coconut chutney.
