INGREDIENTS
1 tbsp oil heat add
1 tsp jeera
1 medium onion chopped
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
1 tbsp green chili paste
1 small cabbage chopped
2 capsicum chopped
In a bowl
2 cups atta
1 cup rava
½ cup rice flour
Salt to taste
½ tsp jeera pdr
Pinch of turmeric
1 tsp red chili pdr
½ tsp pepper pdr
Ajwain a big pinch
Coriander leaves 1 tbsp
1 tsp chili flakes
½ cup curd
Eno 1 tsp
METHOD
Heat oil in a pan/ kadai. Add jeera, once it crackles add onion fry.
After 2 minutes, add ginger-garlic paste, mix well fry again.
Add green chili paste, mix well, fry again
Add cabbage, capsicum, salt to taste mix well,
fry on medium flame till water has evaporated.
In a bowl add the flours and all the dry ingredients, mix well.
add curd, Eno, mix well, add the prepared veges
mix well, knead to a dough without adding any water.
Heat water in idli steamer/ pressure cooker
Grease idli plates,roll dough into round idli shape and place in the greased plate
Steam for 20 minutes in low flame, poke to check if it’s cooked the knife should come clean
If yes, remove the dhokla, serve hot with chutney/ ketchup.
