I had made white karamani/ lobia as chundal, i.e. just boiled and seasoned to eat like for salad. But, as a cup was left over, wanted to make it as cutlets, so I don't waste food. I really hate wasting food, when anything is left over, I change the form so, it is over !
INGREDIENTS
cooked beans 1 cup
carrot 2 chopped
onion 1 chopped
ginger 1" chopped
green chilies 2-3 / as per taste
salt to taste
rice flour about 1/2- 3/4 cup as needed
oil for shallow frying
METHOD
I added the chopped carrot, onion, green chilies, ginger in the mixer jar and ground it well.
Then ground beans/ karamani fine.
added salt, rice flour as needed to bind it well. It should be stiff enough, so that you can roll and shape as you like, shallow fry or deep fry.
It came nice crisp, I really enjoyed it, ate it plain hot !
