Since festive season is around the corner, most of us like to make some sweets at home which does require mawa. Earlier, I used to buy from the shop, then heard that during the festive season as the demand for mawa is high, the scrupulous shopkeepers adulterate mawa, which then makes us sick eating sweets made from such mawa.
Now, no fret and simple ingredients and quick too
INGREDIENTS
milk powder 1 cup ( full cream)
full fat milk 1/4 cup
ghee 1 tsp
METHOD
in a big pan, heat milk adding ghee. Once it boils, remove from gas, add milk powder whisking well to get a smooth mawa, which can be used at once in your recipes.
In case, your recipes say use grainy mawa, don't worry, let the mawa you prepared cool completely. It will become a thick mass, when you crumble it, you get grainy mawa !
Isn't the whole thing simple and easy. So, now, no worries to make sweets that are healthy and easy with your home-made mawa !
