I'm sure that everyone loves almond/ badam as we say in India. One can't stop with a small piece. So, cut into tiny pieces that will not make prople guilty of gorging into more calories.
Just 3 simple ingredients, only thing stirring will be difficult .
INGREDIENTS
badam/ almond 1 cup
milk 1 cup
sugar same amount as you get batter.
METHOD
soak almond overnight in warn water. Or else in the morning too it can be done. Once well soaked peel the skin and grind along with milk to a smooth paste.
Measure the paste, as smae amount of sugar if you want barfi pieces, or else little less to get as halwa.
In medium flame keep stirring it well in a heavy pan, so it doesn't get burnt.
You need not ghee to it, as almond and milk itself gives the ghee texture, only towards the end you may add a 1 teaspoon of ghee and ghee to grease the plate or tin.
Once it all comes together pour it in the plate or tin and shake well. Let it set, then cut into desired shape.
