INGREDIENTS
carrot grated 2 cups approximately
maida 2 cup appro.
sugar 1 1/2 cups
ghee 5 tbsp
cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
milk 1 1/4 cups
milk powder 200 gm
water 1 cup
METHOD
grate carrots, I as usual did it in my mixer by cutting small pieces of carrot and minced in mixer.
heat about 1 tbsp ghee, roast maida well on low flame for about 4 minutes
add the carrot, mix well, add 1 cup milk, keep mixing, add water mix well
In the mean time, heat 1/4 cup milk with 1 tsp ghee, once it is about to boil, off the gas, remove, add milk pdr., little at a time, mixing well.
It will thicken, add to the boiling mixture, stir well, adding sugar to taste
keep stirring on medium flame adding 1 tbsp ghee at a time, mixing well after each addition, once it leaves the sides of the pan, remove, pour into a greased plate, keep it in the fridge to set well
cut into desired shape
