Ingredients:
2 cups dark chocolate chips (or chopped dark chocolate)
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
2 tbsp unsalted butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup chopped walnuts (or your preferred nuts)
Pinch of salt
Directions:
Line
an 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for
easy removal later. Lightly grease the parchment paper with cooking
spray.
Melt the Chocolate Mixture:
In a medium saucepan, combine the dark chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and unsalted butter over low heat.
Stir constantly until the chocolate and butter have melted and the mixture is smooth and well combined.
Remove the saucepan from heat. Stir in the vanilla extract, pinch of salt, and chopped walnuts until evenly distributed.
Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
Refrigerate the fudge for at least 2-3 hours, or until fully set.
Once set, lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment paper overhang. Cut into squares or rectangles.
Serve immediately or package in decorative boxes for gifting.
Tips:
Storage: Keep the fudge in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week or in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
Variations: Feel free to mix in other ingredients like dried fruit, coconut, or different nuts for a unique twist.
Chocolate Choices: For a sweeter fudge, you can use semi-sweet chocolate chips instead of dark chocolate.
