chocolate thandai

chocolate thandai

ingredients
milk 1 litre
cinnamon stick 1 small
peppercorns  6-8
cardamom 5-6
nuts  2 tbsp soaked
poppy seeds soaked  2 tbsp
sugar 2 tbsp
dark chocolate  100 gm

METHOD
grind together, cinnamon, peppercorns, cardamom well, keep separately
grind nuts and poppy seeds to a fine paste
boil milk, adding the spice paste, let it come to a boil, add ground nut paste, keep stirring, let it boil well for 2 minutes
add sugar, mix well, let it get dissolved
then add dark chocolate, once it has melted
remove, serve  chilled with rose petals
