Sprouts soup- Protein rich soup.

 Ingredients:

• Oil – 2 tsp
• Green chili – 2 (slit)
• Black peppercorn – 1 tsp
• Bay leaf – 2
• Onion – ½ cup (chopped)
• Tomato – 3 (chopped)
• Sprouted chana – 1 cup
• Sprouted moong – 1 cup
• Coriander leaves – ¼ cup (chopped)
• Salt – 1 tsp (for cooking)
• Water – 2 cups (for pressure cooking)

For tempering:

• Ghee – 2 tsp
• Jeera (cumin seeds) – 1 tsp
• Garam masala – ½ tsp
• Salt – ½ tsp (to taste)
• Coriander leaves – 1 tsp (for garnish)


Method

In a pressure pan, add oil, once hot, add bay leaf, black peppercorns, green chili, onion, fry till raw smell of onion goes, then add the sprouts, tomatoes, coriander leaves, mix well, add salt and water, mix well.

Cover the pressure pan, cook till the 1st whistle comes, then lower the heat, once 2 more whistles come, switch off the gas, once slightly cool, grind it to a smooth paste.

Pour the paste in the pressure pan, adding some more salt to taste.

In a small pan/ kadai add ghee, once hot, add jeera, coriander leaves, garam masala pdr, pour it over the boiling soup. Serve hot garnish with some coriander leaves,
