Sev

Ingredients
besan   2 cups
rice flour  1/2 cup
carom seeds/ ajwain  1/2 tsp
red chilli powder  1 tsp
oil   2 tbsp
salt to taste
asafoetida  1/4 tsp
water to make dough
oil to deep fry
Method
Mix the chilli, oil, salt and ajwain into the flours. 
Add enough water to make a soft dough.
Grease the inside of a vermicelli press, fill with the dough. 
Press into hot oil, and fry lightly on both sides.
 Drain well and cool before storing.
