Ingredients
rava/ semolina/ suji 1 cup
ghee 1 cup
sugar 5 cups
milk 4 cups
Method
add all the ingredients in a big kadai or non-stick pan, mix well, keep on low flame, keep stirring from time to time
once
it gets thick, you feel it is leaving the sides of the pan, put little
in a greased plate wait for a min. if you can roll, then quickly spread
all in the greased plate and cut when still warm.
The
first time, I took out early, thinking it will get thick, it was like
halwa. 2nd time it got too hard. So, this time, I tested like this, it
was perfect.
You can use any measure, tbsp or whatever, but keep the same ratio. My critic-- hubby, really loved it today.
The best part is if you've many burners, you can cook in the others and keep this in low flame and while doing the other work once 4-5 minutes, stir it well ! So, it was a good walk for me to get up every few minutes to attend to the gas and do my other reading !
