Moong tal

Ingredients

ghee  1/4 cup
besan  1/2 cup
milk  1 tbsp
mawa/ khoya  1/2 cup
sugar  1/4 cup
water  1/8 cup

Method
take 2 tbsp ghee in a bowl, add besan, milk, mix well, let it rest for 15-20 minutes
make one string sugar syrup with sugar and water and keep aside
heat 1/4 cup ghee in a heavy kadai/ pan, add the prepared besan mixture, fry till a nice aroma comes, mixture is light pink, add mawa, fry till it bubbles
add syrup, keep stirring till ghee floats on top, add cardamom pdr. and remove
spread on a greased plate, sprinkle some nuts, press it down lightly
cut when slightly cool.
cool completely and store.
