INGREDIENTS
Milk - 1 liter
coconut grated 1 big cup
rava 2 tbsp
sugar 11 tbsp or as per taste
ghee 2 tbsp including greasing the tray
corn flour 1 tbsp heaped mixed in water
Method
I added coconut, rava, milk, sugar in a non-stick pan. You can use a heavy kadai/ pan, kept stirring on and off every 3 minutes on low flame.
Once it got thick, as I felt it may not thicken, I added the corn flour mixed in water, kept stirring well for a few minutes.
I added some chopped nuts, as hubby loves nuts in everything. Once it started getting thick, I added a tsp of ghee, mixed well, once it got absorbed, added another tsp of ghee, kept stirring till it came together and tested by taking a tsp of the mixture, to see if it sticks to hand, when it didn't, I poured the mixture in a greased plate and let it set for almost 2 hours at room temperature. I cut into small pieces.
