Sweet Potato Gluten-Free Biscuits

India Tv - Sweet Potato Gluten-Free Biscuits   

 Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups gluten-free all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 cup mashed sweet potatoes
  • 1/4 cup cold butter, cubed
  • 1/4 cup milk

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in the mashed sweet potatoes and milk until a dough forms.
  5. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and pat it into a 1-inch thick round.
  6. Use a biscuit cutter to cut out biscuits and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until golden brown.
