Burnt and roasted capsicum, tomato, garlic chutney

 INGREDIENTS AND METHOD

capsicum 2

tomatoes 2

garlic 1 pod

roast over fire till black, remove the skin of the capsicum, remove the seeds,

peel the tomatoes, and garlic, chop veges roughly n 6 garlic pearls, grind to a smooth paste

heat 2 tsp oil in a pan add

urad dal  1 tbsp

chana dal 1 tbsp

coriander seeds 1 tbsp

cumin ½ tsp

dry red chilies 4 roast well

add the veges, grind to a smooth paste

 

heat oil 2 tbsp

mustard seeds 1 tsp

urad dal 1 tsp

hing little

dry red chili broken 1

turmeric pdr ½ tsp

red chili pdr 1 tsp fry well

add the capsicum paste, cook on low flame stirring well add

water ½ cup, mix well, keep cooking till it is thick and oil separates, then remove, cool
