Bread milk cake

INGREDIENTS 

Bread slices 5 powder in a mixer jar

Sugar ½ cup

Milk 1 cup

Milk pdr  ½ cup

Desiccated coconut  ½ cup

ghee 1 tbsp

nuts for garnishing

 

METHOD

In a pan, heat sugar , keep stirring till it melts and becomes caramelized, add little water 

then add milk, stir well, remove from gas after a minute.

In a big pan, / kadai add ghee,  once it melts add bread crumbs, keep frying till crumbs get brown.

add milk pdr, mix well, then add the sugar syrup, mix well, once it all comes together, add desiccated coconut, keep cooking for few minutes, till it thickens , comes together, leaving the sides of the pan.

pour the mixture in a greased cake tin, or any bowl, level it well sprinkling some nuts on top and lightly press it down. 

keep the cake tin in the fridge for 3-4 hours to set well, then cut into desired pieces and serve.
