Ingredients
Ragi flr 130 gm
Whole wheat flr 110 gm
Cocoa pdr 50 gm
Bananas large 2
Vegetable oil 50 gm
Curd 100 gm
Jaggery pdr 165 gm
Baking pdr 1 ½ tsp
Baking soda ½ tsp
Vanilla ½ tsp
salt a pinch
Method
In a blender add bananas, oil, curd, cocoa pdr, vanilla, jaggery pdr blend into a smooth paste
In a bowl add ragi flr, wheat flr, baking pdr, baking soda, mix well.
Add the prepared paste mix well, add mlk to get the right consistency of the batter
Pour the batter in a prepared cake tin which was greased with butter and dusted with flr
Tap the tin well, to remove air pockets
Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180 deg C for around 35-45 minutes, depending on your oven size, voltage etc, as I had a small oven, in which the cake would get done in 15 minutes at the most.
So, better, keep a watch when you bake goodies, as you can judge from the smell. Never open the oven door before 10 minutes, normally when you see from the glass, you can make out if the cake is done, or best poke with a knife in the center of the cake to see if it is done, i.e., no batter is sticking to your knife.
