Ingredients and Method
In a bowl add besan 3 cups
Milk ¼ cup
Ghee ¼ cup crumble and mix well so the ghee and milk are well combined with the flour. Then sieve it and break lumps that may be there.
Heat ghee 1
cup add besan, keep frying till well combined on low flame till ghee releases and it has
turned golden brown- takes about 20 minutes, as it is bubbling add ½ cup milk, it will turn
dark brown and as it leaves the sides of the pan, remove and transfer to a plate or a dish.
Add sugar 1 ½ cups sugar and water ½ cup in a pan, it should come to 1 string syrup add saffron colour a pinch and khoya ¼ cup, add the besan mixture, mix well
Add cardamom pdr 1/2 tsp mix well, as it leaves the sides of the pan, though it looks like a pouring consistency, spread on a greased tin / plate, let it set for 4 hours, then cut into desired shape adding some nuts on top.
