INGREDIENTS
ghee 2-3 tbsp
suji 1 cup
milk 2 1/2 cups
sugar 1/2 cup
cardamom pdr 1/2 tsp
nuts chopped to garnish
METHOD
Heat a kadai
add 1 tbsp ghee, add 1 cup suji fry well stirring for 3-5 minutes, stirring constantly
Add 2 ½ cups milk, keep stirring well, once thick, add ½ cup sugar, ½ tsp cardamom pdr and some saffron. Keep cooking till it all comes together, leaving the sides.
Spread on a greased plate, level, put nuts on top, press it down, let it set, then cut into desired shapes.
