INGREDIENTS And PREPARATIONS
Maida 320 gm
Baking pdr 1 tsp
Salt ½ tsp mix all well together
Boiling water 150 ml, mix with a spoon
Add 1 egg
Red pepper pdr 1 tsp
Coriander leaves chopped fine 3 tbsp
Mix all well
Olive oil 1 tbsp mix well knead with hand now
While kneading add some flour if it is too sticky
Grease an oven proof dish with oil, make 8 small balls with the dough,
Keep the balls on the dish, brush with some olive oil, cover with cling film for 15 minutes
In a small bowl mix 1 tbsp olive oil + 1 tbsp flour, add 1/2 tsp garlic pdr and black pepper pdr, mix
Roll out each ball to 6” roti, spread the prepared mixture over it, cut a small radius, roll from that around like a cone, seal well, then press it down, repeat with the rest of the balls.
Place the balls again the dish, cover with cling film for 15 minutes
Roll it to about 8” roti, place in a hot, greased pan, cook adding little oil on top, once the bottom is cooked, flip it, cook the other side with brown and lightly puffed up
Prepare all in the same way.
Serve hot with some nice gravy having veges and lentils to make it a complete meal
