A traditional English recipe for simple and
delicious butter cookies.
Ingredients:
2 cups flour
½ cup powdered sugar
2 sticks salted butter
Preparation:
Preheat the oven to 180°C (355°F).
Blend the butter and sugar to make a consistent mix.
Add the flour and continue blending.
If the mixture becomes crumbly,
add a tablespoon of water.
Blend until the mix becomes doughy.
On a floured surface, flatten the dough to about 1/3 of an inch.
Cut the dough into cookie-sized pieces, place on a baking sheet and
bake for 20-25 minutes.
