You can make this thepla with any vege you like.
Peel and grate bottle gourd, if it is tender, then there will be no seeds, or else remove the seeds.
INGREDIENTS
atta - 2 cups
grated ghia/ bottle gourd 1 cup or however much is there
salt to taste
ajwain/ carom seeds 1/2 tsp
ginger-garlic-green chili paste 2 tbsp
hing little
turmeric pdr 1/4 tsp
jeera pdr 1 tsp
red chili pdr little
chopped coriander leaves 2 tbsp
ghee/ oil to cook
PREPARATIONS
In a bowl, add flour, grated ghia, salt and rest of the ingredients well.
if need be sprinkle little water to make a soft dough
once the dough comes together, add 2 tsp oil, knead well
keep covered for 10 minutes
heat a tawa, sprinkle some flour, take some dough and roll out to a thin roti
put the roti on the tawa on medium flame, once you see bubble on top, turn it, cook adding some ghee/ oil on top, press it down, turn and add ghee little, press it well, once light brown spots on both sides
remove serve hot with some pickle and curd.
